Yeah, that's pretty cool. Wish I could do that, but I guess I'll settle for regular TPKs... (sorry...)

boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?t=728537I just thought this was funny, especially the "grammar Hitler" who can't spell. It's super long, but entertaining if you have absolutely nothing to do. And aortscommander's dissertation on evil is awesome (page 6, I think).

Whoever knew there was an actual use for soap operas? Will wonders never cease? I must say the whole Gelatinous Cube thing was pretty damn funny. Also, on the last one Toran A Sunder had a signature that I thought was so great I had to post the damn thing here.... "Kender sorcerer wild mage? Think about it! A Kender rod of wonder! THAT my friends, is how you take over the world." BUTTERFLIES! lmao ;D

Rules Compendium...hmm. Might be handy, but it just seems like they want me to buy something I already own. Nah, I must be wrong! They surely wouldn't do that!!
And is it my imagination, or is that a flayer head on the cover of MMV? Nice!

of course they want you to buy something and I'm sure they don't care if you own it or not... anything for a profit... but can you blame them? anyone want to buy a baby? she's epic and I think she can defeat all the big dragons even if they work as a team.

No, I don't blame them for wanting me to buy something--they are a corporation, and making money is what they want to do, naturally. And I'm sure that the Rules Compendium is a very fine product: all the rules, plus errata, all collected in one handy reference volume. But they can't fool me! And you have a baby for sale? Epic you say? And able to defeat all the big dragons? I require more information. The model, year of make, color. Is there any rust? Is the baby housebroken? Does she bark for no reason, or only at strangers? Besides dragon slaying, does the baby have any other important skills or talents? Is the baby authentic, or just a rip-off (and yes, I can spot a fake)? What is the asking price? Are you willing to negotiate? Do you own the baby? (I will be very perturbed if, upon completion of the transaction, I find that the baby has been stolen.)

Yes, I do have a baby for sale. She can indeed defeat all the big dragons in 4 activations or less. (depending on the roll of the dice)... She is a light tan color and often cloaked in black, green, or purple. There is no rust or tarnish though there is some redness when her sonic scream is in use. She only barks when hungry or gassy, or when she's not getting the attention she desires. (strangers mean nothing to her) Other skills she has includes such things as stench, a ranged attack with acid and lactose damage, she is immune to sleep and calming spells, and even Balor himself cannot enslave her. She is authentic 100% pure baby and I not only own the baby I made her myself. I'm only asking a mere 100k and if you want to negotiate I will hear you out.

Well, you've answered all my questions, and the baby seems to be everything I'm looking for. Except for the fact that it's a baby... And 100k is a little steep. How about 100 cents? I would maybe do that. And on a completely different note, Xombie ran an excellent game tonight! There was a lot of horseplay (didn't mind it, too much, since I instigated a lot of it ), but the game was great. The time travel thing was cool, and I like killin' giants! I think I'll like killin' a drow even more. Mmm hmm. There was a question about treasure, and personally I think that we're pretty loaded so far as magic toys goes. (I wouldn't mind better armor, of course, but I don't really need it. And I have enough gadgets to keep me satisfied. For now...) We seem to be pretty uber for our level. I'm really looking forward to the next game. And Xombie, I think you have all the info you need about Heller's Rest and the Dragon's Hoard Inn, but if you need anything let me know and I'll try to get it to you in time. (Sometimes I'm kind of anal about continuity; I don't know if anybody else is. [Gir and Gypsy should now feel free to point out any continuity slips that I've made. Sigh.]) Anyway, good game Xombie. Give yourself 1000 bonus DM xp!
