From what I understand, they buried him at sea cause they figured that no country would want to take his body. Or that's how the story goes, anyway. They said that they would follow Muslim custom for how they treated the body, which means he had to be buried within 24 hours. But it hasn't been close to 24 hrs, has it?
So, if he isn't dead, what's the motive for reporting that he is?

This site has a little quiz you can take to see which candidate sees things most closely to your views: www.ontheissues.org/default.htm(Click on "2012 Presidential VoteMatch Quiz" to take the quiz; it's right under the pictures of all those Democrats.) I'm interested to see where y'all fall in your leanings. (You can prolly guess my own leanings...)

Earthquake in MO at about 3:10 last night. I didn't feel it, but the building made some noises like it was settling or there was a strong wind, and one of the cameras was shaking pretty good, not the camera that usually moves a lot in wind. I looked at the flag and it wasn't moving, so I was like, huh, that's weird. Come to find out, earthquake! Kinda cool.

good luck with that... blue helmeted pricks Yeah, I don't think it'll happen. I mean, they'll try, of course (it is the UN), but yeah, it won't happen anytime soon. I found this interesting: Remember in Bowling for Columbine how Michael Moore was talking about how Canadians keep their doors unlocked cause they aren't allowed to own guns (his point was that somehow that deters crime )? Watched a documentary called Michael Moore Hates America, and the dude went to Canada and tried 5 doors on the same street all in a row. I think 1 was unlocked. (Check out the movie on NetFlix, it's not bad.) The scariest thing about the article is that it's more confirmation that "our" leadership seems more and more interested in letting the UN control American policy. I don't think they (the UN) will come after our guns yet, but that day seems inevitable and getting closer all the time, especially given the administration's "viva la UN!" attitude.

Found this on the interwebs, not sure if it's "real," but thought it was entertaining (and the last line is the most chilling, cause it could happen).

Whether you're a smoker or not, I think you might find this interesting. Or not. The federal government (in the form of the FDA), is rolling out graphic new warning labels for cigarette packs. At first I was pissed that they're trying to tell me what I can and cannot put into my body, but they aren't outlawing cigarettes (yet) (and they are trying to tell me, but that's nothing new). Then I was like, how much taxpayer money is this nonsense going to cost, but then realized that the cigarette companies are going to have to pay for the labels (and maybe even the cost of developing these new labels that they are now required to put on their products). And now, well honestly, I'm just wondering why. How long have warning labels been on cigarette packs? A long time. How much money has been spent informing every American how bad that evil cigarette is for you? A whole bunch. People still smoke. Take me, for example. I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed, but I'd like to think I'm smarter than the average bear. I know how bad smoking is for me, and yet I do it anyway. Do they really think that new warning labels are going to make me quit? I guess they do (and they're wrong; the only thing that will make me quit--again--is me). Eh, I don't know, I guess I just think it's silly. Sorry for the interruption.

Watch The Cartel. It's on Netflix. Talks about the American education system. Particularly poignant is the part where the mothers react to whether or not their kids get into charter schools (and aren't forced to attend public schools). This movie reinforces my belief that the teacher's union is evil and that the Department of Education should be eliminated. I imagine that this goes double if you have kids...

As of a few hours ago, I'm done with school. I have earned an associate's degree in Computer Information Systems. W00t. And in honor of that accomplishment, I present to you this silly Muppets and Alice Cooper video:
Also, and I know it isn't a big deal to anybody but me, but I'm hoping my final and my Zombie Girlfriend game will both get As, so I can graduate with a 4.0. Wish me luck! (Today was brutal when I think about it; Zombie Girlfriend and the final were worth half the grade in the class; the final was today [1/6 of the final grade] and the game [Zombie Girlfriend, the final project] was worth 1/3. Yikes.)

Yup, got an A. Also, in more important news, the results of the Bulwer-Lytton Fiction Contest are in. Click the big red 2011 CONTEST RESULTS link for the awesomeness. Also, wolves in the news (endangered in Montana and Idaho or no?). The important part is "the delisting, tucked into a budget bill signed into law by President Barack Obama in April, effectively amended the Endangered Species Act" and the very last paragraph. Didn't this guy also just a couple weeks ago complain about the neverending debate about the budget and debt ceiling, and say something along the lines about how he wishes he could just make the decision himself and end the whole thing? (Sorry, no link, but I heard it on the radio so it has to be true... ) The nerve. How long til they start tucking other amendments into budget bills? Actually, it wouldn't surprise me one bit if it's been happening a whole bunch, and not just in the last two years. I mean, do any of us really know what gets pushed through when they're playing their games? Hell, does anybody know what got passed along with Obamacare? Oh yeah, guess that answers that question...

NSFW!! Something I should've known, but don't Google "tentacle demon" images with safe search off. God, what's wrong with Japanese people!? (My search was innocent enough - I wanted a picture of a character from the MSH game for the wiki on Obsidian Portal. It was Visimajoris, and he's a tentacle demon! I swear!)

Didn't watch the debates in Iowa (too early, and I know that every last one of these people is going to say something stupid and/or say something...well, stupid). Also, I think Gingrich is unelectable, but this is just a great answer to a question posed by a smug journalist:
