There's a chance my brother might be in town when we have our next game... I was wondering, would anyone mind if he sat in and/or possibly played? I don't know if he's ever played before but I think it would be fun (he could take over the character of the DM if they wanted)

I think I remember him: big guy, good artist, funny hamburger painting.
If he's cool with us, then I guess I'm cool with him. That is, if he wants to play the game. If he just wants to visit with you, then we should postpone the game.
xombie suggested that he might run the DM's character, and I suggested that he could do that with help--high level character, and all. That would be up to Glenn (who will be DMing this game). My only concern is that he would be intimidated by all the jargon and numbers--you know what I mean.
Ehh, if he wants to play, then that's cool. If not, maybe we should postpone or play a board game or something.
That's my (abridged) opinion, anyway.

I don't think he's be intimidated in the least, he's smart and catches on quick to things... I think it would make the game run smoother to have him play the DM's character so someone else wont have to try to play 2 characters, though I would suggest that the DM can opt to cancel out any accidental killing of his character... just a thought.. anyway, I'll ask him if he'd like to play, if not there's no need for postponing the game... (I think we've postponed it enough already)

aww man.... ... where's a cat when you need something to kick? Just so you know, Tharsis can wild shape into any variety of cat you want! Multiple varieties if you so desire! He's never tried it rough, and is a little nervous, but is willing to "experiment." And (ooc), two weeks should give xombie enough time to level his frickin character...(Ixos immediately checks to make sure that his character is leveled; finds it to be mostly leveled; revels in superiority but doesn't mention it as " mostly" could be construed as a flaw in Ixos' persona; maintains air of awesome; wishes that awesomeness could be demonstrated this weekend through use of polyhedrons; regrets that it cannot; plans revenge). I mean, jeez, xombie, you've had how long?! Suck it up and level that halfling! Heh. And I don't know if I've mentioned it, but I have 8th level spells now. Yeah, I'm awesome. |
