Welcome to Ultimate Music Video SMACKDOWN!! Everybody knows that music videos are both lame and cool at the same time, and here is where we will decide which one is the best. Or something like that, anyway. Gotta have rules, so here ya go: - Watch the videos in the newest post. Pick the champion between those two videos. Post a challenger.
- First come first served. No voting here. If you're the first to respond, you get to decide the champ from the two video combatants!
- You don't have to link the champion video again when you post, but you do need to name it. And obviously you need to post the challenger video.
- Posting is easy; I'll assume you're using YouTube for your videos. To post one, just click on the YouTube button at the top(ish) left(ish) of the reply box. Copy the address of the video from YouTube and paste it between the ][. [ youtube]video address goes here[/youtube ]
- Use whatever criteria you want to pick the winner. An explanation of why you chose the winner would be nice, but it isn't required.
I'll go first which means that I get the privilege of selecting two videos. w00t for me! And, oh yeah, it's a clash of the titans! First up we have the incomparable Primus with Wynona's Big Brown Beaver. And going up against the Beaver is Tool with Sober (nuff said):

Even though that is my favorite Primus video I dont think it stands up to the imagery of the best Tool song ever.
It might not be everyone's favorite style of music but you cant deny the artistic talent that went into this video...

I got to go with Apocalyptica, never seen that. Didn't even know they sang that. But can they stand with The Lonely Island ( ft. Michael Bolton)!

So nobody wants to pick a winner between Lonely Island (the Champ) and Dynamite Hack (the Challenger)? C'mon y'all! Been like 3 weeks!

Fine! I didn't want to vote on this one. Still not sure, but I'll go with Lonely Island. Next up is "Tha Gatherin".

Okay, I didn't want it to be a game between just us two, but...
Lonely Island wins again (sorry 'bout that).
And I'm sure we've all seen this before (and it's prollly on the board somewhere), but: L70ETC with I Am Murloc

Murlock wins. And if you are going to to WoW vids then you have to have this one.

Porky, while I appreciate your contribution, I must point out that you broke the first rule of Ultimate Video SMACKDOWN!!
Since you did not choose a champion, I will do it for you. As much as I enjoy Slayer, I must must name Murloc as the winner over Dress. And over Seasons in the Abyss, for that matter. I Am Murloc wins!!
However, you did set a devil-music precedent, and this is a precedent that I cannot ignore. So, behold my challenger: Progenies of the Great Apocalypse by Dimmu Borgir -
