So far, I haven't seen a whole lot of "play dis deck, it de roxxors!!1!" kind of posts, which is kind of surprising. Maybe I'm just used to forums about super-popular games like Magic and WoW...and DnD...and FF12...
Hmm. That's kind of refreshing!

I bought a copy of 'Saga' from Nihilatrix on Friday night but the last copy they had (which was maked as 'new' in their computer) was the store copy that they use on the machines there. I have to wait for a new one to come in. However, I did take my hard drive in on Sunday and download Carcasonne and Catan. Now I just have to break down and get the wireless do-hickey so I can connect to my neighbors wi-fi connection to be able to play online.

I have yet to get Carc or Catan, but that's on the to-do list. And I'm gonna have to get a hi def tv, I can already tell. Hmm, maybe here in a couple months when we get our communist government hand-out...I mean, "economic stimulus" check. Hopefully I'll be recovered from spending all that sweet sweet XBox 360 money this weekend by then.
Oh, and I beat frickin Colosseum III last night--booyakah!! (Course, it was almost 1:30am before I was done; I'm kinda tired, right now...)
If anybody wants to play, I'll prolly be online here presently. Not sure how late I'll be up, though.

Has any of youse guys ever played Guild Wars? A few of the employees at Nihilatrix play it at the store on their lap-tops and it looks pretty fun. I boughts me a free 1 month disk at EB t'other day and was thinking of trying it out. Comments? Suggestions? Anyone?

I played GW a little. It's pretty fun, but you really need other people to play with. No monthly fee is nice.

Okay, I checked out Two Worlds, so calm down xombie!!  (j/k!) It seems kinda cool, actually. Unfortunately, I really had no idea how to do anything character-wise, like skills and what-not. I'm sure I just need a rule-book for that. The bad thing (despite being killed by almost everything I fight) is that the menus are hard to read. But that's the same problem I had with Assassin's Creed and Dead Rising--I just need a hi-def tv (dammit). (I think that maybe I actually prefer gaming on the pc. Blasphemous? Maybe. Console vs. pc both have their pros and cons, and I'm not going to argue them with you [unless you really want to...]. Now, if Age of Conan was free-to-play online, and consoles and pcs shared the same world, we would be playing that, no question . If my pc could handle it, that is--I've heard that the requirements aren't exactly forgiving... )
I'll see if maybe I can't pick up 2 Worlds here pretty soon. Can't promise anything, though...(pay cut to get new job, now having to buy gas, that sort of thing--money, I'm doin it rong). |

FF13...I tried checking out some info on that the other day, and happened across what I believe to be the official website (maybe not). Evidently there are 3 different games? I don't know, it was too confusing for me...

2Worlds alchemy stuff: well, I didn't find a master list like I thought I would. It almost seems as if you sort of have to create your own? Not having really played the game, I didn't understand. Hey RMS! I found some stuff on Duels of the Planeswalkers for 360 LIVE Arcade. Looks like its the game we wanted. You actually play cards unlike the stupid PS1 game and you don't have to keep buying packs like the online version. I was thinking that this looks alot like your old microprose PC game when Randy said the same thing in the second vid. This looks really sweet! Who's up for some two-headed giant co-op come spring! ;D

Wow, that Magic game looks pretty cool!
It'll be on Arcade, so it's a dl, right? No disc? So prolly about $20? Sweet! Hell yeah, I'm up for some 2-headed giant asskickery!
(I just wonder what sets will be available at launch. I would assume that if the game is a hit, then more sets will become available in time.)
