I may or may not be able to make it. I have a paper and a program to write (the program is kicking my ass--why the hell won't the shit just fucking work?!?!  ), and another paper that I need to research. Lots of stuff to do, not much time to do it in. I had planned on spending all day Saturday trying to write the program. Hopefully, I'll get it figured out quickly and will be able to play by noon. Otherwise, I will be late. |

Ya got me! My ability to attend will depend on who is DMing. Just kidding. I can't promise when I'll be there or how long I can stay, but I'll grace you with my presence. Is RMS able to play? If not, our party composition is going to be seriously compromised. I volunteer to roll a leader! (Called it!) It's possible to get by without a healer, but I don't think it's a good idea for this group. Two tanks, three strikers, and a controller do not a good party make, imo. Not sure who's DMing, but take one of them away and the party is sorta lacking. True, the tanks could prolly take care of themselves, but we don't exactly pump out the big big damage (nothing wrong with that, just an observation, and it's nobody's fault), and therefore the fights last a little longer than they could (nothing wrong with that, either). That means that our group will be taking more damage, and the non-tanks will prolly take several hits, and thus need a little leader-love. In fact, even if RMS is able to play, an extra leader wouldn't hurt anything. One to primarily heal, the other to primarily buff/debuff? It's not a bad idea, imo, but I'm biased in that I want to roll a different character. There, I said it. I'm not even ashamed to say it. Not much, anyway.  Actually, what do you all think about this idea? There have been a dozen or so new classes (-ish) released since we rolled our characters. I think only redshirt and I have had the chance to play something different than what we're running right now. Oh, and ywing. But still, I'm thinking that some of us might be dissatisfied with what we have right now, and might want to try a different class. What do you think about, for those that want to, rolling up new characters? I can think of at least three of us that might like the idea. I won't speak for the other two, but I'm kinda bored with the wizard. She's cool, but she's not what I thought she would be. Good idea, bad idea, think I'm a dumbass, or [gasp!] a flip-flopper? I'll go with the group, whatever everybody decides. I vote to let everybody roll new characters, whoever wants to. (If we roll new dudes, I'll take up a "position of need," which I assume will be a defender or leader. I don't mind at all (even though I like big damage numbers as much as the next guy...). In fact, I think I might like to try playing a non-suicidal leader-type. Bravura warlord is fun as hell, but he's definitely a glutton for punishment!) Oh, and seriously, who's DMing? |

Me, and rms should make it, as of yesterday, i dont mind rolling up new, do we want to start at level one? so we can get used to a new guy, if we start al 8 there will be a whole lot of new stuff to learn and get used to, just my thought.

The idea was that if you want to roll a new character you can, but if you don't then you don't. Therefore everybody would be at the same (current) level. Eight or whatever it is.
