Really really looking forward to Grindhouse. Halloween might be interesting, but I wasn't impressed with either of Rob Zombie's other movies. I would be really surprised if AvP2 was any good; the first one was really disappointing.
Right now, I'm just waiting for Wednesday. LOST, baby!! ;D ;D ;D

Excited about Grindhouse and Living dead 3D, but wtf is going on w/ halloween? What was wrong w/ the original the rob has to stick his grubby hands all over it. Wasn't it enough that the only good part of his own movies is the first 5 minutes of house before you even hit play on the dvd. *sigh* and I would be excited about AVP but the first one was extremely dissapointing. Hmm, "A pair of one-hour horror movies separated by original trailers and short material in the grindhouse double-feature tradition".....so like a horror 4 rooms? Thanks for the info!!!

Yeah, remake of Halloween will probably be pretty similar to that 80s remake of Night of the Living Dead (or 90s--the one with the chick), or any remake for that matter--don't need it, and probably a lot worse than the original. What was really funny was the remake of Psycho--they used the exact same script, the exact same angles/blocking for shots, everything. Just in color and with different people. What's the point of that? Are there truly no new ideas out there?
And I know that nobody but me is interested in this (well, maybe Glenn) but the movie rights for the Sword of Truth novels have been sold. If they're done like LoTR, awesome! If they're done like the DnD movies, boooooo!! (If they are even ever made into movies.)

Wait a sec? Dragonlance movie?! That could be awesome! It could also be lame. Y'know, the Dragonlance novels would probably be better as movies. I remember loving them as a kid, but I read them again here a couple years back, and, well, um, yeah, uh, hmm... Well, I loved 'em as a kid! Could be kickass movies, though, if done right. (Although, I could--and do--say that about just about everything...sorry about that; someday I'll come up with something new ),

Instead of going into the long spiel I was thinking of while watching the trailer, I will say...
You've got to be fucking kidding me.
(No offense meant, Transformers fans.)

Cult filmmaker Kevin Smith is all set to portray master hacker 'The Warlock' in the new 'Die Hard' movie.
The 'Clerks' director will be seen starring alongside Bruce Willis, Timothy Olyphant, and Justin Long in 'Live Free or Die Hard', the fourth instalment of the action film franchise

Is it just me, or is "Live Free or Die Hard" a really cheesy title? Why not just Die Hard 4 (or Die Hard IV, if you think it needs a touch of class)?
But, I guess it's no worse than "Attack of the Clones."

Live Free or Die Hard.... ?? That doesn't even make sense... it should be Live Soft or Die Hard... or Live Free or Die Imprisoned... or even Live Crunchy or Die Smooth...

Hmm. Fall '06; they're a little late...
And was it my imagination, or did I see Marilyn Manson in that trailer?
The trailer looks pretty cool, but a little short on action.
